Welcome to the NPOC Space Law Austria
National Point of Contact for Space Law Austria (NPOC Space Law Austria) of the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL)
The NPOC Space Law Austria acts as an interface between the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL) and persons interested in space law in Austria. It is coordinated by Irmgard Marboe, Professor of International Law at the Department of European, International and Comparative Law of the University of Vienna. It is supported by the University of Vienna and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (About NPOC).
The main objective of the NPOC Space Law Austria is the promotion and development of space law in Austria. This includes a variety of activities, such as education and research as well as the organisation of public events (Activities). The NPOC Space Law Austria disseminates information about activities organised by ECSL and, if required, pre-selects and nominates participants. In addition, links to sources and literature relating to space law are provided (Services).
